Leonard Oakes Estate Winery
Leonard Oakes Estate Winery planted their first wine grapes in 2003 and began producing wines under a label that reflected their history. In honor of their founder, the first of what is now four generations to farm some of the same land, Leonard Oakes Estate Winery began with just six acres and fourteen varieties of grape.
Merritt Estate Winery was one of the first farm wineries organized in Chautauqua County, but its history dates all the way back to the late 1800s. A full-functioning winery since 1976, the father-and-son duo of William T. Merritt and Jason C. Merritt dedicate themselves to producing some of the area's finest wines.
Named after his wife Victoria and the regions of Germany and France that inspire him, Dan Hogue turned his dream of owning a family wine estate into a reality in 2005, choosing upstate New York for its cool climates that are similar to the European areas that produce his most treasured wines.
All of the wines from Arrowhead Spring Vineyards are made sustainably, using organic methods. But that's just one of the main reasons to visit this beautiful Niagara County winery or look for its label at your local wine shop.
